HAVE A LOOK INSIDE! (PREVIEW)

Living room kleiner.jpg

Have a look inside the lodges? Of course! Even though our lodges are not quite ready yet, we can show you the interior s will look, with a light and spacious open plan living and dining area - you will love the double set of french doors facing the river. There will be a modern, very well equipped kitchen, there are 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The pictures that we are showing now, are not actually taken in our own lodges, but provided by the lodge building company. Even though there are little differences, it gives you a very good idea of what to expect. The pictures show the exact same model of Lodge, but we made a few changes to the decoration. Our aim is to keep it more 'country style', and the bird that gives each Lodge its unique name will also play its role in the decoration. Kingfisher Lodge and Oystercatcher Lodge are the two Lodges that are almost ready, the next two Lodges will be Curlew Lodge and Lapwing Lodge.

The main differences: the curtains and blinds will be a lighter shade than you see in the pictures, the dining chairs are different, and the kitchen worktops will be a rustic wood pattern. The lodges all have their own washing machine, there is a dish washer, 4-plate electric ceramic hob and oven with all the options (grill/fan/classic), a microwave, and all the other appliances that make life easy. The fridge/freezer is a full size side-by-side two-doors, and we are even offering Nespresso machines on request, to keep in line with the very high specs we are offering throughout. Are you in the George Clooney squad? Or would you rather use the classic cafetiere? Tell us!

At this moment we are busy installing a TV/DVD player in every bedroom and a wide-screen satellite TV (larger than the ones in the pictures) in the livings. We are going out of our way to get you the very best WiFi around and it will be fast enough not only for your everyday browsing and business but even for streaming and gaming. In some of the lodges the log burners are 'the real thing', requiring 'fire making' skills, in other lodges we installed an easier to handle electrical version. Push a button, see a 'fire'! Your choice.

The previous blogs have shown you already how it never will be crowded at Riverdale Lodges, with just 4 lodges, and you will never be short of space. The distance between the lodges will be a LOT more than in the interior pictures where you can see a glimpse of the neighbouring lodge through the window. There will also be much larger outside decking, with comfy outdoor seating for six people at every lodge. Your parking will be directly behind your lodge, close to your door, but not blocking your view.

We can't wait to take our own pictures, as soon as the electricians and WiFi specialists leave, to show you every one of our Lodges in detail. In the meantime: you are more than welcome to take 'have a look' literally: I would be delighted to show you around if you can be tempted to travel to our neck of the woods for a little tour of the park.
